The Secretariat is the permanent working body of the United Societies of Science (Abbr.: USS, from now on referred to as USS. Chinese name:国际科学联合会), headed by the Secretary-General. The Secretariat is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the USS and is guided and supervised by the Board of Directors.
