Abstract:

In this paper it is described the construction and filling of an Automated Information System (AIS), which is aimed at managing scientific and academic staff in Kyrgyz Republic. Its purpose, scope, and the main information it manages—namely, the data of scientific and  academic staff across the Kyrgyz Republic. It is discussed hereinafter the role of the AIS in automating the collection, storage, and analysis of personnel data. The information system created within the Ministry of Education and Science reduces paper-based data collection processing time by centralizing digital storage. The system architecture, features, and advantages are described along with opportunities for the future optimal maintenance.
