Abstract:

The use and implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in talent management is aimed to improve employee engagement and optimize workforce productivity/s performance using fact-based approaches. The automated enhancement of engagement strategies by the feedback tracking system, uses Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Sentiment Analysis (SA), captures and analyzes employee comments. Employee interaction and engagement with current roles and responsibilities is facilitated through the use of traditional techniques which involve a manual survey design or review based on periods for sampling, which lacks real-time monitoring, is biased, and prone to sparse response volumes. These techniques tend to miss nuanced expressions and feelings that employees hold leading to poor engagement efforts. This approach aims to solve extractive challenges through the use of NLP-SA which allows for the real-time scanning of employee generated sentiments across diverse media including surveys, emails, and social media platforms in a perpetual fashion. This helps organizations to have full appreciation of the sentiments of employees in real-time. Studies have proven that organizations which make use of this technique have improved employee engagement considering the more accurate and timely feedback analysis they are able to gather.
